The congregation of the Church of the Epiphany is a diverse representation of the international and Christian community in the State of Qatar. Members come from almost every kind of Christian tradition and a multitude of countries. Our worship uses the Anglican/Episcopal tradition of the Book of Common Prayer, which roots our common worship in the continuing liturgical tradition of Christian history while also linking us to a vast fellowship of Christians all over the globe. We are ever-aware that our local fellowship is but a small reflection of the world-wide Body of Christ and, at the same time, we work hard at building a sense of community and shared vision for ministry among the expatriates who share this experience of living in Qatar.
We understand our role as community to be inclusive, welcoming, and mutually supportive. We recognise that expatriates are far away from family and friends, and hope that the Church of the Epiphany can be a local representation of family and certainly a place to find and make friendships. At the same time, we are conscious of the needs around us. We seek to reach out to people in the community who have material needs and, more importantly, to those who have spiritual needs.
We believe that the proclamation of the Gospel through sacrament and sermon, through the witness of the church as community and as individuals, and through the daily journey as disciples of Jesus will draw many to a saving, empowered relationship with Christ. We look for God's grace to be manifest in our lives and in our words and especially in our worship and prayers together. We welcome your participation in this ministry, which is the ministry of the Church in all places throughout all time.

With humility and sincere gratitude do we acknowledge the vision, wisdom, and respect for all peoples of faith as shown through the kind generosity of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani in his dedication of land for the development of an expatriate religious community. The Church of the Epiphany is pleased to have been charged by His Highness to coordinate the development of a Protestant community and dedicated place of worship.
